In the event that your monohull vessel is no more than 15 meters in Tonnage Measurement Length (TML), and does not carry more than a single tier of deckhouses and/or superstructures whose combined length does not exceed 70% of the TML, you can use a Form 4A – Simplified Method of Tonnage Measurement. Qualifying in this category will allow you to submit a more streamlined series of measurements, which will save you time when it comes to applying for registration for your vessel with Transport Canada.
