APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF REGISTRY

A certificate of registry from the Canadian Register of Vessel is valid for 5 years. 45 days before the expiry date of the certificate, the vessel owner will be notified in writing of the upcoming expiry. Although Transport Canada sends notices regarding renewal of the registration, the ultimate responsibility of renewing on time rests with the owner.
