If you own a multi-hull vessel that is not more than 15 meters in length this will commonly be a pontoon you can use the Form 4B – Tonnage Measurement of a Simple Multihull Vessel form when applying for your registration with Transport Canada. This document will ask that you fill in a series of measurements for your vessel, including Tonnage Measurement Length (TML), Tonnage Measurement Breadth (TMB), Tonnage Measurement Depth (TMD), and more. This form should be completed as accurately as possible, as it is instrumental to obtaining registration for your vessel.
