Please be advised, in order to process your vessels documentation we will require the following:
A photocopy of a valid piece of government issued identification for EACH new owner(s)Bill of Sale from the last owner(s) to the new owner(s) (or other proof of ownership)
*must include the name(s) and address(es) of both the seller(s) and the purchaser(s)
*the date of sale
*pleasure craft licence number (if already licensed).
*description of the vessel(make, model, length, colour)
*the signature(s) of both the seller(s) and the purchaser(s)
*hull serial number (HIN) or compliance label number (if available)A current photo of the full side view of the vessel in colour(The minimum print resolution for the photograph is 300 dpi (dots per inch). The file must be no larger than 5 mb and only in one of the following acceptable formats: PDF, JPG, TIFF OR PNG.) Please note that stock photographs of a pleasure craft will not be accepted.
A photograph of your vessel's Hull Identification Number (HIN) (if applicable)
The builder/ manufacturer's HIN is typically 12 digits long and should be located on the transom of the vessel on a plaque of some sort near the vessel's waterline.
The HIN photograph is not required. However, providing this information may prevent delays in the issuance of your Pleasure Craft Licence.
